Line of Events
This film was supposed to follow a young boy who is separated from his father during WWII. The boy discovers the island of Sodor, where he meets Thomas the Tank Engine and ventures to find his father. This was supposed to be the second feature film in franchise (following “Thomas and the Magic Railroad” in 2000) and was slated for release in 2010. Due to multiple production issues, the film was constantly pushed back until it was finally canceled in 2015 when HIT Entertainment went out of business and sold its property of Mattel.
